Sobre Kristoff.
In the summer of 2019, at the invitation of a friend, I began to attend a weekly yoga class. By the beginning of 2021, yoga had become my sole form of exercise. At this time, I was exclusively practicing with YouTube videos.
In 2022, I joined a studio for the first time, HAUM Studios in San Francisco. I quickly experienced big leaps in my practice. Several months after joining, I was looking once more for a way to deepen my practice. I signed up for the next teacher training offered at my studio.
I completed a 200-hour YTT in Hatha Vinyasa in 2023 under my teachers Danni Pomplun and Yvonne Kingsley, co-founders of HAUM. For me, the training was heart-opening: a profound paradigm shift after a life of operating at a head-level. Importantly, I realized at an internal level that my engineering job was not right for me anymore, and, in early 2024, I left my job.
Next began a year of backpacking around Latin America. In early 2025, I stumbled across a master of Karma Yoga in the Colombian Andes. His name was Gabriel, and he was the owner of the hostel where I was staying, Yambolombia. Recognizing him as a teacher, I soon returned to devote one month to the practice of Karma Yoga, with Gabriel as my teacher. Next, I headed to the Amazon jungle, where I spent a month cradled by la Madre Selva, another master teacher.
In late 2025, I moved to Barcelona and began practicing Mysore-style Hatha Ashtanga under Aleix Griñó at Viveka Yoga Shala. As of 2026, I teach regularly at Adarsha Yoga, also in Barcelona.
